Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

miniapps.me is an independent directory of Telegram mini apps and bots. In this policy, "we", "us", and "the site" refer to miniapps.me. You can reach us at hello@miniapps.me.

2. What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. The information we store falls into three groups:

• Newsletter email. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you submit along with the time you submitted it.
• App submissions. If you submit a mini app or bot, we store the details you provide in the submission form: the app name, link, type, category, description, your Telegram username, the verified bot username, and any logo image you upload.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our server records standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. These logs are used to keep the site running and to investigate problems.
• Your account, if you sign in with Telegram. When you sign in we receive and store the information Telegram provides: your Telegram user ID, your first and last name, your username, and your profile photo URL. We also record when you first signed in, when you were last active, how many times you have signed in, and the IP address of your most recent sign-in.
• Your activity. If you upvote an app, we store which app you upvoted and when. If you report an app as not working, we store the app, your note, and your account so we can follow up.

Signing in with Telegram does not give us your phone number, your contacts, or any of your messages. Telegram only shares the fields listed above. We never see or store a password, because there is not one.

We do not ask for your real name or your address. Creating an account is optional, but it is required to submit an app or to upvote, so that we can prevent spam and abuse.

3. Bot tokens

When you submit a mini app, the submission form asks for a Telegram bot token so we can confirm the bot exists and that you control it. Providing one is optional, but it lets us verify your listing and fill in your bot's name and picture automatically.

If you provide a token, we store it encrypted so that we can re-check ownership later, for example when transferring a listing to a new owner. It is never displayed publicly, never shared with anyone, and never used to send messages or read your bot's traffic. Only the site administrator can decrypt it. If you would rather we did not keep it, submit without a token, or message us and we will delete it.

4. Cookies and analytics

The site does not set tracking cookies and does not load third-party advertising. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are popular and which links are working. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated to say so.

5. Third parties

A few parts of the site are loaded from external services:

• Google Fonts, for the Inter and Source Serif typefaces.
• Cloudflare CDN, for the Font Awesome icon library.
• The Telegram Bot API, used to verify submitted bot tokens.

These services may see your IP address as part of loading the resource. We do not share any other information with them.

6. How we use what we collect

Newsletter emails are used only to send the newsletter. Submission details are used only to review your listing and, if accepted, to publish it on the directory. We do not sell or rent any information you give us.

7. How long we keep it

Newsletter subscribers are kept until you ask us to remove you. Submission records are kept for as long as the listing is on the site, and a short time afterward for our own records. Server logs are kept for a limited window and then rotated out.

Account records, including the sign-in IP address, are kept for as long as your account exists, so that we can investigate abuse and keep the directory clean. If you want your account and its data deleted, message us and we will remove it.

8. Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by replying to one of the emails or writing to hello@miniapps.me. You can ask us to remove a listing you submitted, or to delete any other information you have shared, by emailing the same address.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no website can promise perfect security. If something goes wrong and your information is affected, we will tell you.

10. Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the homepage or in the newsletter.
